Since the end of 2024, we have been investigating Linkedin, Job Seeker, HR Recruiter Fraud, and Scams. The scale of the problem grew to reviewing over 1000 profiles and countless DMs. In May 2025, we reached to senior leadership at LinkedIn and per their Executive Escalation Manager/process, we provided an initial 23 solutions/recommendations of LinkedIn Enhancements for them to implement. Below is the tracker to tracker the enhancement implementation dates as we learn about them. We developed a class on the topic that we provide to HR Teams, law enforcement, Job Seeker professional groups, HR Recruiter professional groups, and international audiences. The details of each enhancement and IOCs are being controlled under industry’s responsibile vulnerability disclosure. Our hope is we will keep updating the enhancements we sent to LinkedIn as the fraudseters and scammers continue to adopt their methods.
We love the LinkedIn platform, but we hope that LinkedIn leadership will understand and prioritize giving more resources to members, company members and the Trust & Safety Team to implement these and other LinkedIn Enhancements
