Metrics On Demand App — Data Collection

When you register for the Ask McConnell Metrics On Demand App (available at https://askmcconnell.com/metrics), we collect the following information:

  • Email address — used as your login identifier and for account communications
  • First and last name — used to personalize your in-app experience
  • Organization name (optional) — collected voluntarily at registration to better understand our user community
  • Password — stored in encrypted form; we never store or transmit your password in plain text
  • Registration date — used to manage your free trial period
  • App usage data — metrics you mark as favorites are stored and associated with your account

This data is stored securely on servers hosted by IONOS (see Data Transfers section) and is used solely to operate and improve the Metrics On Demand App. We do not sell or share this data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Payment Processing

The Metrics On Demand App offers a paid subscription processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Ask McConnell, LLC does not directly collect, store, or process your payment card information. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe’s terms. Ask McConnell, LLC subcontracts all payment processing to Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment service provider.

When you choose to subscribe, you will be redirected to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Stripe collects and processes:

  • Credit or debit card number, expiration date, and CVV
  • Billing name and address
  • Email address (for payment receipts)
  • IP address and device information (for fraud prevention)

Ask McConnell, LLC receives only a confirmation of successful payment and a customer identifier from Stripe — never your full card details.

Stripe’s data practices are governed by their own Privacy Policy, available at https://stripe.com/privacy. By completing a purchase through the app, you agree to Stripe’s terms and privacy policy in addition to ours.

Embedded Content

Some posts include videos or images from other websites. When viewed, those sites may collect data or use tracking tools.

Data Retention

We retain comment data briefly. This supports moderation and faster approval of future comments. App account data is retained until deletion is requested.

Your Data Rights

If you’ve left a comment, you may request deletion of your personal data. We’ll only keep what lawfully must be stored. App users may request deletion of their account and associated data by emailing info@askmcconnell.com. Note that Stripe retains transaction records as required by financial regulations, independent of any deletion request made to Ask McConnell, LLC.
